Dear UK Families,
Welcome to Family Weekend! We are thrilled you are able to visit our campus and learn more about your students' experiences at the University of Kentucky. For nearly 150 years, we have been committed to a shared Kentucky Promise - a promise to transform lives through education, research, and service while opening doors to endless possibility.
While we are excited to see you donning your blue and white and cheering for our student athletes at the football game, we encourage you to investigate other parts of our campus and seek out many exciting programs and events while you are here:
• Several of our colleges and academic units will host open houses and receptions.
• The UK Art Museum is holding an exhibit featuring the incredible work of our faculty artisans.
• You can enjoy the world-class talent of UK Opera Theatre as they premiere The Phantom of the Opera.
All this and more is our tribute to you, special members of our UK Family. We hope you take this opportunity to explore and enjoy all aspects of our Promise to our students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends.
