Union College Athletics

Union’s comprehensive athletics program develops well-rounded students who achieve excellence in the classroom, in the community and on the playing fields. With 25 varsity intercollegiate athletic programs, Union competes with colleges and universities of comparable size and compatible academic philosophy.

Twenty-three teams compete within NCAA Division III, while men’s and women’s ice hockey are Division I programs. Union had seven teams represented at NCAA championship events and also featured six All-Americans in 2008-09. Six Union students were named to academic all-district teams; 147 student-athletes received academic all-league recognition. Union student-athletes regularly are selected for top scholastic and athletic honors.
