Center to be closed during winter break

Student Health Insurance-Spring/Summer 2010 Enrollment: Enrollment for the UNM Accident & Sickness Health Insurance program runs from Dec. 21 through Feb. 9. (The policy is effective Jan. 19 through Aug. 23, 2010.)

Students can choose either "Preferred Plan A" or the less comprehensive "Limited Benefit Plan B." Students can pick up brochures and sign up at the Student Health & Counseling (SHAC) reception area, or they can enroll online at www.macori.com/UNM.

SHAC Holiday Closure: Student Health and Counseling (SHAC) will be closed during the UNM Winter Break, Dec. 24, through Jan. 3.

SHAC encourages students to talk to a SHAC pharmacist about ordering an adequate supply of medications for the holidays.

The pharmacy is located on the 2nd floor of SHAC in rm. 206 and is available to all UNM students, staff, and faculty. To refill prescriptions, call the pharmacy at (505) 277-6306. Information about pharmacy services is available at http://shac.unm.edu/pharmacy.html.
