The Sponsor Program pairs cadets with families who provide support, friendship and learning beyond the Academy environment as well as the comforts of a home away from home.
Named after Salmon P. Chase, the Secretary of Treasury during the Civil War, Chase Hall is the largest building at the Academy and serves as the sole barracks for approximately 1,000 cadets and officer candidates.
The U.S. Coast Guard Academy is devoted not just to the intellectual, character and professional development of cadets, but also to cadets’ physical health and wellness.
