Staying Safe in the Residence Halls and On Campus

Posted in

Although the UVM campus is a very safe place to live, it is important for residents to take an active role in protecting and taking care of themselves, their community, and their property.

Health & Safety around Campus

Posted in

Students' health and safety is top priority on our campus. UVM has many resources available to help students maintain and nurture their mental and physical health. As H1N1 becomes a reality for campuses around the country, UVM has taken steps to inform the community about our preparation and efforts to keep our campus as healthy as possible. Please review this letter to families of UVM students to get a sense of how we believe H1N1 may affect our campus in the coming months and the steps we're taking to address any challenges (http://reslife.uvm.edu/parents/info/H1N1.pdf).

Support for Students in the Residence Halls

Posted in

ResLife is very intentional about surrounding students with the support they need throughout their experience on campus. Particularly as students learn the ropes around campus, there are staff in the residence halls who are available to answer questions, and guide students to the resources they need to make their experience educational, productive, and enjoyable. The resident advisors, office managers, assistant residence directors, and residence directors are present in the residence halls, and below you will find a brief description of the ways they can help and support students.
