Pensacola is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Gulf Islands National Seashore on Perdido Key and Pensacola Beach is actually the longest stretch of protected seashore in the country, where national park rangers offer free programs and tours.

Besides natural beauty, our community is rich in history. Pensacola was the first European settlement in the United States, founded by the Spanish in 1559.
