Vincennes is a progressive city which boasts a state of the art regional medical facility and a two year university which serves as the Midwest’s technology training center. During Memorial Day weekend Vincennes hosts the largest battle reenactment at the Spirit of the Vincennes Rendezvous. Visitors can experience life during the Revolutionary War period with food, music and demonstrations. In August the Watermelon Festival celebrates the Knox County’s watermelon industry with food, fun and entertainment.
