The office of International Student Affairs provides advising and immigration support for VUs international student population. The office also serves as a coordination hub for campus cultural programming throughout the school year and promotes opportunities for global learning for all VU students, including the International Friendship Program. The office provides international student support for issues such as:
- US immigration
- Visa/I-20 questions
- US income tax
- Housing
- Banking
- Personal issues/culture shock
- Finding resources on campus
- Campus employment
- Obtaining a driver’s license
- Medical insurance
- Application for Optional Practical Training (OPT)
