WSU LEAD (Leadership Education And Development) is the Dean of Students Office progressive leadership education program designed to meet the diverse needs and interests of all Wayne State University students by helping them learn, grow, and succeed as current and future leaders. One way students can turn their leadership potential into potent skills is by earning their LEAD Certificate. The LEAD Certificate requirements in leadership training, education, development, and civic engagement give students the opportunity to learn about themselves, their leadership capabilities and Detroit so they can develop a personalized and comprehensive leadership development experience. In addition they will produce an electronic Leadership Portfolio that they can share with future employers or graduate schools.
