WKU Health Services
WKU Health Services is a full service primary care center dedicated to providing students, faculty, staff, alumni and their dependents quality medical care and health promotion services necessary to regain, maintain, promote, and improve their optimal health status, in support of the academic mission of the University. Scheduled appointments are highly recommended, but walk-in service is available. Services include physician office visits, nurse practitioner visits, women’s and men’s health, EKG’s, laboratory, x-ray, allergy/immunization clinic, pharmaceutical dispensary, STD screenings, travel clinic, annual physicals for sports or general health, drug screenings, occupational health, billing services and wellness/health education.
There is a fee-for-service schedule. Patients are encouraged to have a current copy of their health insurance card when checking in. For those wanting to purchase student health insurance, please contact the Insurance & Billing Coordinator at Health Services, 745-5034 or email: healthservices-billing@wku.edu. We will file insurance when appropriate or bill the patient directly.
Health Services is open 12 months. Currently, Fall and Spring semester hours are Monday - Thursday, 8 am - 4:30 pm and Friday, 10 am - 4:30 pm. Summer closing time follows the University schedule of 4:00 pm.
