WKU employs a fully trained police department, which patrols campus areas 24hours a day, seven days a week. WKU Police employs the following: Chief of Police, Major of Field Operations, (4) Captains, (5) Sergeants, (15) patrol officers. The Sections consist of Patrol, Investigations, Communications & Staff Services, as well as Professional Standards. This office also administers the Police Explorer Program and Student Escort Service.
