Started in 1925, the Herald is published twice weekly throughout the academic year to inform students of campus news and activities and to provide a forum for issues of interest to the campus community. The Herald is student run and continues to win national awards every year.
Anyone may follow life at WKU on WKU Herald or by downloading the wkuherald free phone apps. The Herald accepts applications for various positions each semester from any major.
The Talisman, the official yearbook at WKU, documents the academic year through the eyes of students. The award-winning Talisman is recognized as one of the top yearbooks in the country. The yearbook is free for students, and the 2012 yearbook can be reserved on TopNet under Student Services. The Talisman takes applications for various positions each year from any major.
The Herald and Talisman are located in the Adams-Whitaker Student Publications Center on Normal Street across from Mass Media and Technology Hall.
