University Libraries
From anywhere in the world, students discover useful information through the Libraries’ state-of-the-art Power Search. Power Search includes millions of print and online books, articles, government documents, maps, audio, video, and many other specialized research materials provided by WMU Libraries for our entire community. It allows students to quickly narrow search results for their specific needs. Students can access the Libraries’ vast online content around the clock, and request items from other libraries when needed using their BroncoNet ID.
In addition to high-quality research collections, our four branch locations across campus offer:
- expert service-oriented staff
- individual and group study space
- quiet areas
- convenient, current computers
- student employment opportunities that build important life skills
The Education Library, the Music and Dance Library, and the WMU Archives and Regional History Collections each offer specialized information and service to students in specific majors.
Waldo Library, the main branch, is open until 3 a.m. Sunday through Thursday during fall and spring semesters. Students can settle into their favorite study spot, or take a break between classes with some pleasure reading in a comfy chair with a snack and a drink.
WMU Libraries is committed to enhancing the student learning experience, and invites questions in person, by phone, over instant messaging, or on Facebook. Visit WMU Libraries or call (269) 387-5178.
