Counseling and Testing Center

The primary goal of the Counseling and Testing Center is to promote students’ personal development and psychological well-being. Experienced professional counselors, psychologists, social workers, and graduate students assist clients in resolving conflicts, which may interfere with their progress at the University. The Center offers individual and group counseling sessions, educational programs, consultations and referrals, and emergency and crisis services; it also administers several national standardized tests.

The Center’s counseling services are free and strictly confidential; no information-including whether an individual has received counseling-will be released without the informed written consent of the client, except in certain emergency situations. Students are encouraged to utilize the Counseling and Testing Center if they encounter personal-social concerns or life-planning issues.
