My name is Aniruddha. I go by the name Andy. I completed my PhD from University of Kentucky (UK) in the field of Environmental Engineering. I always had a passion to teach, and five years of being a Teaching Assistant (TA) at UK helped me to foster this passion based learning among my students. I distinctly remember of securing the highest teacher rating (3.8 out of 4) for teaching Introduction to Environmental Engineering in Spring of 2010. Based on feedback from my students, i was nominated...
Went over parts of chapter 2 and aided me in better understanding of the material, taking his time to go step-by-step on how the problem works. He also makes sure to check on me to make sure I am not lost in the material every time we finish a section of the book.

I am a high school student taking a lot of AP classes. Andy helped me with AP CALCULUS, he was very patient explaining all problems and concepts, the lesson was very helpful. I recommend Andy highly to any student. I wish I connected with Andy sooner.

Andy has been tutoring my daughter in physics for the second part of this quarter. It went so well that she also asked him to add a session to review for her algebra final. Without having worked with her on this subject previously, he picked up with the material she brought home and worked through it steadily so she felt comfortable going into the test. She feels that she did well and we will roll into SAT prep with Andy over the summer - he has really made a wonderful change in her understanding of the material, as well as in her confidence, which is very important for her. Thanks Andy!!!!

He has worked with my son for his SAT preparation and for Math (AFM - Advance function and modelling). He was a savior for my son. He understood his capacity and mindset very well and customize lessons accordingly.
His grasp on the subject is very well and his tutoring has helped my son like anything. Apart from teaching Maths he has also advised my son on study skills and for college readiness as well. A true mentor.
I would highly recommend Andy for his dedication to teaching.

Aniruddha helped us on short notice via Wyzant's video conference app. He clarified all of my daughter's questions and she felt much more confident and at ease about her upcoming exam. Thank you, Aniruddha!

Andy is working with my son to help him catch up and master his studies. With his assistance I think he will catch up and improve his grades. He works with him to understand and master the content.

Right now - ACT prep. Soon - physics and calculus. Makes the subject much more understandable. My daughter loves his tutoring. We're doing this online - awesome way to tutor.
- Bonnie D. from Versailles, KY
He helped my son with Algebra, geometry and EOG testing strategies. He was communicative and on time, and prepared to teach. I would send him copies of my son's tests and study guides and they would review and correct the wrong answers. I highly recommend Andy.

A little about me, math was never my strong suit, and I had previously attempted math 171, pre-calculus algebra, twice before dropping. The third time, I had Andi help me. He does a great job of helping you to understand the material. In fact, he doesn't want you to memorize things, he wants your understanding. This is good, as understanding what problems mean is the best way to understanding. I was able to pass the class with a B, something I wouldn't have been able to do on my own. I highly recommend Andi for anyone completely lost in math.

First off, Andy was very friendly. This is something you need from a tutor because he/she will be easy to ask questions. He thought me anti-detrivates, functions, area under the curve. He was patient and that's another important quality a tutor should have. I will definitely have him tutoring me for physics in the fall. He also charges a reasonable price and will work with you on time.

Andy is a wonderful, patient tutor who works with my child at the level she finds most useful. he doesn't speak down to her and helps her. she looks forward to working with him. i recommend him without reservation.

Aniruddha tutored my son last semester for Calculus 1 as he was struggling at Wake Tech. What a difference it made, and his grades went up. We are using him again for Calculus 2. My son really enjoys working with Aniruddha. He's very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, great personality and gives my son a much better understanding of the courses than his WT instructors. He deserves a 10 star rating!

He is very patient and caring. My son is a college Freshman and he has been helping him with calculus
- Stacy P. from Gilbert, AZ
He was able to explain a concept to me in 5 minutes that took another tutor and hour and a half and I still did not understand it! I plan to continue with him as a tutor!

During the first meeting, Andy got an overall view of where she is in AP chem. Andy is very knowledgeable and his teaching style worked well with my daughter.
The second session-Andy is always prepared, doing his "homework" first and then helping my daughter with her work/tests. Wants students to succeed.

My daughter was tutored for Algebra II Honors and Andy did an incredible job making it simple and easy for her to approach. He explained the concepts, mechanics and approaches to solving complex problems in a way that made sense to her. He is the best tutor we've ever used! And he's so nice and pleasant - very enthusiastic about learning which motivated my daughter too.

Andy is the best tutor ever-sets a high bar for future tutors that you may use. We used Andy for Calculus 2 which our son was really struggling with. He took a personal interest in him and gave him the confidence he needed to succeed. Andy made sure our son knew what he had to do and motivated him to do what was required. Our son went from failing to passing in no time. Our son has a learning disability and Andy was able to adjust his teaching style to the best way for him to learn the material. He also communicated well about what he covers in a lesson-you will never need to question a bill! He is easy to schedule with and makes sure the tutoring appointments are kept. I can't say enough about the guy-he was the first tutor we used and we feel grateful to have found him!

Taught me more about limits and several fundamental concepts that are key to succeeding in solving problems I am being presented with.

Andy has helped my 10th grader with precalculus and calculus throughout this year and my 8th grader prepare for geometry tests. Although my older son had gotten behind in class and was losing self-confidence, Andy helped him get a full grasp of the material and helped build his confidence back up. Within the semester, my son's grade improved by a full letter grade and by the end of the year he was scoring 100s on tests. He feels confident about tackling AP Calculus next year, especially knowing Andy will be there if he gets stuck! Andy's manner puts students at ease and he really cares about their success. He often checks in, anxious to see how a test or quiz turned out. We will miss him over the summer!
