Super reliable, prompt to respond and a patient teacher. Very knowledgeable. Generously gives the student the tools to accomplish projects beyond the tutoring session. I feel so lucky to have found Kayla as a tutor!
- Lisa B. from New York, NY
Kayla did a great job giving me a basic crash course in 1 and 2 point perspective and gesture drawing. I look forward to learning more in future sessions with her!
- Denny C. from State College, PA
I enjoyed having Kayla help me brush up my skills in Photoshop. I brought a few questions to her and she had solutions and tips to allow me to figure out what to do. And I'll definitely use Kayla again.

Kayla taught me how to look at lighting in my piece and how to shade for faces. She worked with me directly on a piece and gave me helpful advice for everything I wanted to know. Would highly recommend her as a tutor.

She taught me how to create and organize screen overlays for a project I'm working on. I highly recommend her, and I'll definitely book her again if I need more help.

Kayla showed me the ropes of After Effects and got me on my feet starting from basically no knowledge whatsoever. She could not have been kinder and more patient. She also knew her stuff and was able to answer every question I threw her way. Highly recommended!!
- Jake O. from Santa Monica, CA
She was extremely patient and walked me through several tasks. She made suggestions such as "Perhaps this is something you want to write down" and when I got frustrated she was gentle and reassuring!

We went over more on the duck animation. This time, about the waddle and making it look like the duck was moving back and forth as it's walking. We talked a little about Wacom tablets as well as making the pen pressure show up in the program.

Kayla explained everything very clearly. She was patient and I could tell she has a ton of experience working with Photoshop. She answered all of my questions and I?m confident that I will reach out to her again for another lesson.

Kayla is an awesome teacher. My son likes to draw with an ink pen and his favorite objects of drawing are dragons and warriors as it supposed to be for a 14 year old boy. However, in a typical art studio and school, they teach to draw chickens and scissors... After two years of wasting my time and money in classic art classes, I finally decided to think out of the box and look for a teacher that teaches what the student wants. I found Kayla and finally it was exactly what I needed, a teacher who is the best at drawing characters and mystical creatures. She understands completely what Denny is trying to achieve and leads him into this direction. His is taking giant leaps of progress, started to draw more often and is the happiest guy in the world because now he has a chance to become an outstanding performer in mystical art. Kayla has a way to teach art on-line, which is a rare skill. I highly recommend you to take her lessons.

Kayla and Anthony talked about many different styles of art. We discussed horror art, fantasy art, and the types of art books to use in our sessions. We discuss the materials we will use in our session to complete my art goals.

I was searching high and low for a creative with technical (software) expertise who could teach my 10 year old boy how to create his own animated shorts using Adobe Animate. You should have seen his face when he came downstairs after his first session was done with Kayla to tell my wife and I to come upstairs so we could see his first creation. That Kayla could get a 10 year old to work through an Adobe program that quickly is nothing short of impressive. Highly recommend.

Kayla is fantastic! She is working with my daughter and is able to break complicated tasks into small chunks. Can?t wait for lesson two! Kayla is very flexible and was able to accommodate us on the spot.
- Maya K. from Fairfax, VA
She has a good variety of things to choose from as far as what to create and with what art tools. I found her to be friendly, qualified, and flexible as far as scheduling. She works hard at her role as an art teacher. I hope other people will have the same experience as me. I really enjoyed learning from her.
- David H. from Hoschton, GA
I came into the lesson with a wide variety of problems regarding Maya and I got an answer for everything. This included troubleshooting an issue with the software, learning about lighting and rigging, and other miscellaneous inquiries. While she didn't know every single thing there was to know about Maya (but who does?), she never just shrugged her shoulders, instead making helpful estimations and suggestions that let me to an answer. She was very patient with me, and allowed me to come to my own conclusions when needed.

Kayla went slow and was very indepth. She also made sure I understood the concepts before moving forward. She was clear and concise, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who was trying to learn a computer graphics program.
