Welcome to New Orleans!

Dear Parents,

We are excited to welcome you and your child to New Orleans, America’s most authentic city where European traditions blend with Caribbean influences, the history is as colorful as the local architecture, and our music and food are legendary!

In New Orleans, we often use the phrase “Laissez les bons temps rouler,” or “Let the good times roll,” but we want to assure you that living in the Crescent City is about more than just having a good time, all the time. It’s about living in a city known for its unique culture, notable architecture and extraordinary legacy.

In fact, living in New Orleans, your child is residing in one of the most genuine destinations in the country, where a history lesson can be found on just about every corner. It is a tight-knit community with plentiful opportunities to get involved and connected with professionals in all industries.

Visiting your child in New Orleans will be both easy and enjoyable since we are located only 20-30 minutes from the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. And getting around the city is convenient and inexpensive. Not only is New Orleans known for its walkability, it is also known for its historic streetcar lines, offering passengers a view of the Crescent City at only $1.25 per trip.

There are hundreds of cultural celebrations and festivals to experience with your family such as French Quarter Festival, the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, the New Orleans Wine and Food Experience, ESSENCE Music Fest, Tales of the Cocktail and Christmas New Orleans Style. We hope you find time to travel back to the Crescent City to enjoy time with your child and experience the joy, revelry, and of course history, of New Orleans.
